8422 was designed as a heavy-bodied, high strength epoxy/urethane for panel bonding. This is our strongest and most impressive products, with a lap shear strength (ATSM 1002D) of 3500 psi on both steel and aluminum. Not only does it have a phenomenal lap shear strength, it handles impact extremely well, even when bent and crushed. It can be used to replace quarter panels. Door skins, roof panels, truck box sides, and many other outer body sheet metal repairs. You can also use this as a panel bonder for plastics if you need extreme strength. 8422 contains glass beads to ensure proper spacing and product coverage for a perfect bond.
